Canadian Secondary Schools

Services and Processes

Pre-Study Service

Assessment: We believe that not every child is suited to studying abroad. We will evaluate and analyze the situation of each child and the family and give an honest assessment as to whether or not studying abroad is best suited for them. We will evaluate students mainly from the following aspects:

• Whether the student is willing or eager to study abroad

• Whether the student's ability is suitable for studying abroad

• Assessment of the student’ learning, especially language ability or language learning ability

• Student hobby assessment

• Family status assessment

Choosing: Canada's education system is divided into public, private, boarding and religious schools. Their requirements for student applications vary. When choosing a school, we will comprehensively evaluate the school's academic ranking, teaching system, teaching philosophy, teaching resources and faculty, school location, school clubs, hardware facilities and other aspects. We will give the most pertinent opinion based on the situation of the child and the family. Of course, we will fully respect the wishes of the child and the parent on the basis of practicality. After determining the general direction, we will recommend 3-5 private schools or more than two public education bureaus to apply to according to the child's situation. If conditions permit, we will recommend that parents bring their children to Canada for field trips during the holidays. We will take the children to visit some schools, so that they can see for themselves where they will be studying in the future and make an informed decision.

Application preparation: Once the goals are determined, we can start to prepare for application. English ability is the most important part of studying abroad, so it is recommended to start targeted English tuition immediately while applications are being prepared. We will provide online one-on-one tutoring with overseas teachers according to the individual needs of the child. If you need to take the SSAT , we will also arrange for a teacher to provide special guidance for it. We help children formulate study plans and timetables, and strictly monitor their learning progress. Applying for a private school generally requires a letter of recommendation from a teacher. We will also arrange for overseas teachers to write a letter of recommendation for the child. We will organize and translate the full set of application materials and help students write application essays.

Submitting the application: After preparing a full set of application materials, we will submit the application materials online or in person according to the school's requirements. We will track and give timely feedback on the application results. For schools that require interviews, we will also facilitate interview appointments and provide targeted guidance for interviews. In addition to interviewing students, private schools also need to interview parents. We can attend interviews as guardians of the child.

Admission/school selection: Among the admitted schools, we will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of each school with students and parents to help students choose the most suitable school for them.

Preparation for going abroad: We will apply for a study visa for students, and arrange relevant matters such as Canadian guardians, accommodation and transportation to ensure that students can quickly transition to a normal state of study and life when they come to Canada.

Services While Studying Abroad

Daily Life: We will provide high-quality Chinese and world cuisine for the children, and we will also provide safe transportation services for children in need. We will organize corresponding entertainment activities to fully experience the local culture during the holidays, such as organizing children to enjoy concerts, art exhibitions, camping, skiing, etc. When there are Chinese festivals, we will also organize corresponding cultural and entertainment activities and dinner parties, so that children will not feel lonely while away from their families. During winter and summer vacations, we will also plan suitable study camps and study tours for children. In a word, we promise to provide each child with the most attentive and thoughtful service, so that children can grow and learn in a safe and caring environment, and parents can feel at ease.

Academic supervision: As the guardians of students overseas, we will maintain close contact with school teachers and supervise children's academic performance in school. For subjects that require additional tutoring, we will arrange for teachers to provide one-on-one tutoring. Of course, we will try our best to encourage children to achieve the desired grades through their studies in school and their own efforts. For children who are strong in a certain subject, we will encourage them to participate in related activities and competitions, such as the various competitions Mathematics competitions in Canada and the United States.. We will also arrange qualified teachers to provide one-on-one tutoring for children prior to competitions.

Cultivating interests and strengths: We will comprehensively evaluate children's interests and strengths. Whether it is sports, music, art, etc., Canada has many top-level facilities and teaching resources. Blue Pine Education has very comprehensive information on the best local institutions to meet every child’s needs. In the area of music, we can connect your child with top quality instructors in piano, violin, cello, flute, vocal music, etc. For the athletically inclined students, students can find instructors or join teams in ice hockey, speed skating, figure skating, swimming, tennis, golf, skiing, fencing, equestrianism, rugby and other sports. Various sports clubs not only have advanced facilities, but also have high levels of achievement reaching the international stage. In addition to finding suitable training for children's interests and specialties, we also encourage children to participate in various extracurricular activities and competitions. As we all know, in addition to evaluating students’ academic performance, prestigious schools place equal value on outstanding achievement in sports, arts and social involvement. We will arrange various volunteering and social activities for students, not only to cultivate their own sense of responsibility, but also to improve their awareness of contributing to society.

Transfer / Post-secondary planning: After a child enters a Canadian secondary school, it is possible to consider transferring from a public secondary school to a private school, or vice versa. We help students assess the need for transfer and help students complete their applications. In addition, we will also begin post-secondary planning for students starting from the 9th and 10th grades, including professional orientation, specialty training, social activities, etc. Participating in the summer schools of renowned North American universities is very helpful for students in their future applications to those schools. We will help each student with their preparation in order to meet the rigorous selection process for these programs.
